Trip to Hot Springs - Day 2

Our second day of the trip, we visited Garvan Woodland Gardens.
We thought we were just going to spend one...maybe two hours there. We ended up spending three hours there, and we barely scratched the surface!
Next time we go, we're going to devote an entire day to this place. It was amazing!

(Sorry, you're going to get lots of scenic pictures in this post. This place was too gorgeous not to take photos non stop!)

This guy was gorgeous and he knew it. He was a bit of a show off...but I guess I can't really blame him.

Look! I found a tree my size!
I couldn't resist the temptation to climb a tree.

I enjoyed relaxing by the brook.
It was SO nice not to have to worry about anything for a few hours.

It was so peaceful.

The next bridge was my absolute favorite place. It was called the Half Moon Bridge...and it was gorgeous!

I found a perfect little spot just my size to relax for a little while.

There was this cute little train garden!

I wanted to ride the train and visit the little town, but there were signs everywhere that made it pretty clear I could do nothing of the sort. Oh well.

Before we left, we visited the Anthony Chapel.

Would you believe I was so taken by the beauty of this place, I forgot to have my picture taken!?
Oh well...maybe next time.

This is the bell tower outside of the chapel.
It was playing all sorts of pretty hymns as we approached.

It was a short weekend trip, but it was pretty amazing.
Now I'm ready to go on my next adventure!
(At least its starting to get warm out...so we might actually start leaving the house again, lol.)

Trip to Hot Springs! Day One

After months of being stuck inside with nothing but work to do, The Keeper finally took me on a trip!
Her husband surprised her with a trip to Hot Springs, AR to celebrate their 5th wedding anniversary.
With it being their anniversary and all, I thought for sure they wouldn't let me go...but they were more than happy to bring me along.

We first visited Hot Springs Mountain Tower.

Yep! We went all the way to the top!
I didn't take any pictures of myself up there because it was SO windy!
But this was the view:

After we came down the tower, I did make sure to get a picture of myself on the mountain!

Next we visited the little aquarium. There wasn't much to it, but it was still fun.
I loved the lion fish.

This great big tortoise was my favorite though. She was so sweet...she even gave me a ride!

Next, we took a stroll down the main street. We did some shopping, and ate lunch.
There were lots of pretty places to stop and take photos as we walked.

We ended our first day at The Gangster Museum...and you'll never believe who I met there!

Yep, that's me and Al Capone!

Our second day was at Garvan Woodland Gardens, but that place was so gorgeous, I'm going to have to give it its own blog post! Be back soon with the rest. :)

Things are getting a bit hairy around here...

I have been SO busy lately.
This new job of mine is hard work, but it's pretty fun...

As you can see, I've had my hands full with these Pocket Fluffs!

These guys have just graduated from my training program and have all been properly groomed. Time to get them all adopted out to new homes!

These two are a special pair, off to a fellow doll friend of mine! I know she's going to have lots of fun with them!

I've also discovered that Pocket Fluffs don't just come in one size. This little guy was the runt.

I thought he needed some special attention since he's so little.

Luckily, things have quieted down now. All but two have been adopted into new homes.
The Keeper promised me I'd get a little break after this...and maybe even some time for a real adventure again!

Pssst...want a Pocket Fluff of your own?
Their adoption site is here!
