Disney- Day 1

I finally stopped procrastinating and started working on my Disney pictures...
It seems that vacation took more out of me than I expected!

Anyway, here's Day 1 of the trip:

We had to be at the airport super early...The Keeper had to be up and ready to leave the house at 6 AM!
I don't really do mornings...so I chose to sleep in my travel case in The Keeper's purse (I would've killed her if she had forgotten me...so that was my safest option!)

Unfortunately, she made me wake up before boarding the plane. She seemed to think I should be awake for my very first flight on an airplane.

It was a good thing she had a grande sized Starbucks coffee waiting for me when I got up.

Flying was pretty awesome though...so I guess I couldn't be too mad at her.
It was pretty amazing seeing what appeared to be a miniature version of my city.

Once we landed, we hurried to our hotel to drop off some of our things, and immediately set off for Downtown Disney!
We were tired, but way too excited to waste any time resting.

I thought this was a very appropriate sign to begin our trip with:

Downtown Disney is pretty neat...with lots to see.
There's tons of shops and restaurants.
We bought quite a few goodies that day.

Can you believe this dragon is made entirely out of Legos?!

Watch out for dinosaurs!
This place looked like a neat place to eat, but we decided to look around a little bit more for food
(even though we were starving by now!).

I thought this place looked really cool!

It was even cooler on the inside!
There was so much to look at, I almost forgot to eat!

Here's a better picture of the view from our table.

We did some serious shopping after we ate.
Now this is a dollhouse I wouldn't mind living in!
The Keeper said it was just for display...and we wouldn't have room for it even if it was for sale.
She always has to rain on my parade. ;)

We ended the evening splitting this awesome dessert at Ghiradelli. It was SO good.
I wish I could go back and get another one right now actually...

It had been a long day and I was relieved to finally get back to our hotel room to crash.

  1. How fun! That castle is to DIE for, shame it wasn't for sale. I'm glad you enjoyed flying and day one of your adventure! Looking forward to the rest of the story!

    1. Yes, it really is quite a shame. I think I could've taken quite well to palace living. :)
