Happy 4th of July!

First of all, I'm excited to report that The Keeper's husband took pity on us
and bought an inexpensive camera to use until she can afford a nicer one.
It's really not a bad little camera, so I won't complain!

Our town did their big firework show last night.
I was so excited to go this year!
The best part? I managed to talk my best friend, Scribble, into going!
She hates leaving her work in the art room so I was thrilled she agreed to come.

We decided to get to the park early to get a good spot.

BFF's!

We decided to grab something to eat.
I went for a traditional 4th of July treat...

Scribble decided she needed something to beat the heat.
I told her she better eat it fast!

We spent some time together, just enjoying some nice conversation.

Then we decided to lay back, relax, and wait for the sun to go down.

Happy 4th of July!
Hope you guys are having a great day celebrating!

  1. What a fun adventure! I am so jealous! It's too dry and hot here so fireworks here are completely banned, and even most of the professional shows have been canceled at this point. it's so cool that you got to see fireworks! It looks like Scribble had a great time too. And you both look so pretty, hanging out in the great outdoors.

Also, please tell The Keeper's Husband "thank you" from your friends out here on the internet. We really appreciate getting to see your adventures! Happy 4th of July to you all!

    1. We weren't allowed to shoot our own fireworks around here either.
The city decided to go ahead with the big show though.
Can you believe they watered the surrounding area every day for weeks in preperation?? Plus, they had firefighters roaming the surrounding neighborhoods just as a safety precaution.
      Thankfully, everything went perfectly!
Have to love our fire department for putting on a good show!

Oh yes, I made sure The Keeper's husband knew how thankful I was! He's pretty awesome.
