A Little Scribble

Hey guys!
Last week, Bea was...well, she was Bea.
She did make one good point though. (Just don't tell her I said that please!)
I do need to start introducing you to more of my friends.

I know you kind of met her before, but I really wanted to tell you more about my best friend Scribble.
She told me she had a surprise for me today so I thought you guys could come along to see what it is!

Scribble is a very special friend...
She's an artist. I think she's pretty great at it too!

She spends all her time on The Keeper's art desk working.
The Keeper claims she doesn't have favorites among us, but I know Scribble is her favorite.
It's okay though...I'm not jealous. Scribble is my favorite too!

Scribble came to live here two years ago.
The Keeper thought she would be the perfect little traveling companion, but she quickly discovered there was a problem...
Scribble won't talk!
She can talk. We've both heard her before, but she chooses not to.
She still communicates with us, but she just prefers to be narrated.
The Keeper was perplexed over this for quite a long time...until I came along.

According to The Keeper "I just won't stop talking."
I don't know what she means by that.

Anyway, I figured out the problem with Scribble.
She and The Keeper are just alike! They're so similar, they can talk to each other without ever having to open their mouths. Pretty cool, huh?

Anyway, regardless of how she talks, Scribble is still the coolest doll I know.

Oh! It looks like she's done with her project!

She says she made it just for me!

She made a little scribble of me!

Thanks, Scribble...you're the best!

Happy 4th of July!

First of all, I'm excited to report that The Keeper's husband took pity on us
and bought an inexpensive camera to use until she can afford a nicer one.
It's really not a bad little camera, so I won't complain!

Our town did their big firework show last night.
I was so excited to go this year!
The best part? I managed to talk my best friend, Scribble, into going!
She hates leaving her work in the art room so I was thrilled she agreed to come.

We decided to get to the park early to get a good spot.

BFF's!

We decided to grab something to eat.
I went for a traditional 4th of July treat...

Scribble decided she needed something to beat the heat.
I told her she better eat it fast!

We spent some time together, just enjoying some nice conversation.

Then we decided to lay back, relax, and wait for the sun to go down.

Happy 4th of July!
Hope you guys are having a great day celebrating!
